AltaGas, has announced that it has appointed Vern Yu, the current CFO of Enbridge, as its new President and CEO. The appointment will take effect from July 1, 2023.
This announcement comes after the current CEO, Randy Crawford, announced his intention to retire. Crawford has been with the company since 2010 and has played a significant role in leading AltaGas’s growth and transformation during his tenure.
Vern Yu brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise in the energy industry, having worked in various leadership positions at Enbridge since 1995. As CFO, he played a key role in executing Enbridge’s strategic initiatives and managing its financial operations.
